WORK SHOWCASE
I’ve had the opportunity to work on a number of incredible projects that have allowed me to grow and establish my skills as an Industrial Designer. I hope you’ll enjoy viewing my projects as much as I enjoyed working on them. Go ahead and explore, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to learn more. I will be constantly updating this page with new projects and drawings as I work on them and complete them.
"SWIFT" SALT AND PEPPER SHAKERS
This was my final project for my fall 2018 Studio Class. The objective was to design a set of Salt and Pepper shakers based on a concept word. For my shakers, the concept word was "Swift". I designed the shakers so that they could be oriented in two ways and could either be split up into two separate models or put together to form one cohesive composition.
This was the first step in the project. My goal with these sketches was to find the form and design direction that I wanted to pursue
The second phase of the project was to begin iterating with blue foam. Using the blue foam allowed me to further sketch in a 3D format and get an idea of the actual size and table footprint of the shakers as well as the ergonomics and feeling in the hand.
The final phase of the project involved the production of the final models utilizing obo 600 and various sanding techniques. I was extremely happy with the final models, and I achieved my design goals while maintaining efficiency and form.
"TABLESCAPE - BREAKFAST EXPERIENCE DESIGN"
The goal of this project was to design a product, produced by vacuum forming, that elevated the breakfast eating experience and introduced an aspect of elegance and aesthetic. The end product was a fully functional product produced by vacuum forming styrene over a mold.
